Garry Marshall Inducted into NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame

Garry Marshall, legendary Hollywood actor, director, writer, and producer, will be inducted into the NAP Broadcasting Hall of Fame on Monday, April 16 during the 2012 NAB Show Television Luncheon. Marshall is credited with creating and writing for television classics such as "Happy Days," "Laverne and Shirley," and the "Dick Van Dyke Show." Marshall has also directed Hollywood blockbusters, "Pretty Woman," "Runaway Bride," and "The Princess Diaries." The recipient of several awards, Marshall has been gifted the American comedy Awards Lifetime Achievement Award, the Publicist Guild Motion Picture Showmanship Award for Film and Television, the Writers Guild of America's Valentine Davies Award, and received a star on the Holly Wood Walk of Fame in 1983. 

The National Association of Broadcasters advocates on behalf of America's Broadcasters for their interests in policy, legislation, and public affairs.
