Four New Designers Chosen for Inaugural DC Fashion Incubator

The DC Fashion Foundation announced Tuesday the four new designers chosen for the DC Fashion Incubator Program (DCFI). The DCFI will encompass a place for designers to sketch, build, present designs and also meet with mentors surrounding business plans, brand development, and media relations. The DC Fashion Foundation chose Azadeh Tajdivand, Gennet Purcell, Tatiana Kolina, and Isaiah Butler based on criteria that included feasibility, integrity of design, creativity, and the ability for the to be a successful, profitable business endeavor.
