Girl power! Actress Geena Davis and former FCC Commissioner Deborah Taylor are gathering a group of high-powered ladies (and some men who definitely aren’t afraid of a little estrogen) to create the Healthy MEdia Commission for Positive Images of Women and Girls. Although the name may say it all, a release from the organization says it will, “work to lead the national dialogue on how women and girls are portrayed in the media.”

Some of the 31 newly selected commission members include The Style Network president Salaam Coleman Smith, model and T.V. host Emme, Seventeen magazine Editor-in-Chief Ann Shoket, and author Katherine Schwarzenegger (Arnold and Maria Shriver’s daughter.)

With so many hard-hitting women, maybe the Healthy MEdia Commission could be the cast of "A League of Their Own 2." Just throwing it out there.
