altaltAngelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made a pit stop at Washington’s most famous residence on Wednesday, as they visited the White House and even chatted with President Obama.

The pair was in town for the Tuesday night D.C. premiere of Jolie’s directorial debut, “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” at the Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Deputy White House Press Secretary Jamie Smith confirms to The Hill that the president spoke with the Academy Award-winning actress about “her work to raise the profile of preventing mass atrocities and combating sexual violence against women.”
