Vice President Joe Biden has made his prediction for what will win best picture in 2010. The only trouble is that he had trouble remembering what it's called.

In an interview with NBC on Tuesday, Biden praised "this new program that I looked at," saying that it was "this science fiction thing."

Finally, host Andrea Mitchell prompted him, "Avatar?" she asked.

Biden seemed relieved. ""Avatar!" the magic of it is kind of overwhelming," he said, although the veep wishes he's seen it in 3-D.

Despite his two dimensional experience, Biden (shown here at a recent event) predicted, "'Avatar' will win."

James Cameron's space-age adventure has been nominated for nine Academy Awards.
