One week after President Barack Obama attended a Georgetown basketball game at the Verizon Center, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) made a quieter appearance at the Washington, D.C. arena.

Pelosi braved the nearly two feet of snow on the ground in Washington and was shown sitting in a luxury box at the game versus Villanova University.

When Obama attended the game he sat courtside next to Vice President Joe Biden and several aides.

The president made an appearance on the CBS telecast of Georgetown's game versus the Duke Blue Devils last week, but it appears as if Pelosi will stay off the airwaves during this game.

At one point, the California Democrat was seen on the ESPN broadcast chatting with former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue.
