Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been many things: first lady, senator, presidential candidate. But now she's tackling a new role: mother of the bride.

Speaking Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," Clinton confessed she has yet to find a dress for her daughter Chelsea Clinton's August wedding to banker Marc Mezvinsky. "We're still looking, and it's -- it's a new status for me being an MOTB.  But I'm very proud to have that status."

Chelsea Clinton had better hurry up. Wedding dresses frequently require numerous rounds of complicated alterations leading up to the big day.

CNN host Candy Crowley, whose son was recently married, was sympathetic to the challenges facing the Clintons. "Which do you think ... is harder? Middle East peace, or negotiating this wedding?"

Clinton smiled and said, "Well, I'd probably call it a draw about that one."
