Former 'Seinfeld' star Jason Alexander met with Sen. Richard Lugar (R-Ind.) on Friday morning to lobby for the grassroots Middle East peace organization OneVoice. Earlier in the week Lugar also met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was in Washington to discuss the peace process with President Barack Obama.

Alexander, who has donated to the Democratic National Committee and who campainged for Presdient Barack Obama, recently told comedian Bill Maher that he has visited Israel many times and observed the peace process there. OneVoice is committed to highlighting the efforts and goals of moderates from both Palestinian and Israeli factions, and attendees at the meeting in Lugar's office included Palestinian Youth Leader Arwa Abdel Rahman and Israeli Youth Leader Guy Lupo from OneVoice.

Alexander is famous for playing the slightly neurotic George Costanza on the long running hit show. His most recent venture is a live comedy variety show in Australia called 'Jason Alexander's Comedy Spectacular.'
