Jon Favreau, Tommy Vietor go shirtless at Old Glory

President Barack Obama's speechwriter, Jon Favreau and White House assistant press secretary Tommy Vietor went topless this weekend at Old Glory, a Georgetown barbecue restaurant.

The two West Wing staffers were photographed shirtless on the restaurant's balcony on Sunday. The website FamousDC.com posted the photo Monday afternoon.

Famous DC suggests the group was playing beer pong, but according to an eyewitness, they were just standing around a table -- not playing drinking games.

The source also told ITK that Favreau had celebrated his birthday over the weekend, and the group made their way to the restaurant after they were caught outside in Sunday afternoon's flash thunderstorm. Once the rain stopped, a few of the boys decided to hang their shirts over the balcony to dry them.

This isn't the first time Favreau has been caught cutting loose around Washington: he was spotted last year kissing actress Rashida Jones at L2, another Georgetown hotspot. And in December of 2008, photos emerged on Facebook of Favreau and some friends posing with a cardboard cut-out of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, pretending to feed her beer and fondle her.
