Imagine playing a game of “Hot or Not: the Congressional Edition.”

That’s what blogger Tom Scott has created with "Sexual Congress," a new website that sets up voting contests between two members of Congress, where the most attractive member wins. Viewers vote based on photos of two lawmakers, and after voting, two new lawmakers immediately appear.

ITK was alerted to the site by a congressional staffer, who said it was growing in popularity on Capitol Hill. Launched this week, as of 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sexual Congress had received thousands of votes.

On the men's side, users on Friday afternoon had voted Rep. Martin Heinrich (D-Ariz.) the best looking; Heinrich has won 347 “battles” representing 91 percent of his total contests. He was followed closely by Aaron Schock (R-Ill.), who had won 346 times, 89 percent of the time.

The ladies side was subject to heavier voting. Republican Rep. Mary Bono Mack (Calif.) has the number one spot with 2,223 wins in 95 percent of the battles. Next in line is Democratic Sen. Kristen Gillibrand (N.Y.), who has won 2,120 contests, which is 92 percent of her total contests.
