Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) married Huma Abedin, a longtime aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on Saturday evening in Huntington, N.Y.

Former President Bill Clinton presided over the ceremony, which took place at the Oheka Castle in front of a few hundred of the couple's closest friends.

Abedin, 34, wore a beaded, cream-colored gown by Oscar de la Renta. Weiner, 45, wore a tuxedo jacket with a black neck-tie.

The couple met in 2008 on the presidential campaign trail with then-Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.).

The Weiner/Abedin wedding is the first of the summer's two A-List political weddings: Clinton's daughter, Chelsea Clinton, will marry fiancee Marc Mezvinski in Rhinebeck, N.Y. on July 31.
