Two powerful political families were united on Saturday when Ned Sebelius, son on Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, wed Lisa Rockefeller, a great-great-granddaughter of William Rockefeller, and a distant cousin of Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.)

The weekend-long event was held at the historic Gasparilla Inn and Club on Florida's Gulf Coast.

The couple met in Iowa in 2003, where they were both working on Sen. John Kerry's (D-Mass.) presidential campaign. After living in Washington for three years, the couple moved north. Rockefeller went
back to school to get her MBA from Dartmouth, and Sebelius, who graduated from Georgetown University and Georgetown Law School, earned a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. The couple
reside in Boston.
