Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) praised left-leaning MSNBC host Keith Olbermann this week, despite repeatedly having been named one of Olbermann’s “Worst Persons in the World” on his nightly TV show.

“I think it would be so interesting to have a discussion with [Olbermann],” Bachmann told Right Network’s David Brody on Friday. “And I think he would be willing to have a discussion. I do.”

The compliment arose from a question about with whom Bachmann would prefer to be stranded on a desert island. The lawmaker picked Olbermann over his fellow MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews.

Bachmann also said that she’s just like a nursery-rhyme character, the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, “because we have five biological children and we were privileged to raise 23 great foster children. ... We’re an imperfect family, but we love each other.”

When the Tea Party favorite wants to relax on the couch with a snack, Bachmann said, she goes right for her favorite food: celery. “No peanut butter, straight-up celery,” she said. “I’m telling you, I will personally consume the entire stalk.”

Bachmann also said that her dream concert would be to hear Johann Sebastian Bach play, and that her “favorite song” is “Takin’ Care of Business” by the band Bachman-Turner Overdrive.
