Obama questions value of law degree

President Barack Obama, a former law professor, joked today that he's not sure how valuable his law degree has been.

Speaking a jobs summit, Obama was responding to a question about why it was so difficult to find a job even with an MBA degree.

Obama responded by noting his own professional degree.

"I've got a law degree, so it was more expensive," Obama joked. "It took longer, and I don't know how much more useful it was."

Obama was the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review and taught law at University of Chicago. That post led to a state senate seat, which led to a U.S. senate seat, and the rest is history.

So I'd say that law degree was pretty useful.
