She Should Run, an organization dedicated to dramatically increasing the number of women in public leadership, had its Inaugural National Conversation Wednesday evening at Union Station.

Former Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-Ariz.) and Reps. Gwen Moore (D-Wis.) and Kathy Hochul (D-N.Y.) attended the event, along with Hill staffers like Tara Setmayer, communications manager for Rep. Dana Rohrbacher (R-Calif.) and Terry O'Neill, president of NOW.

"This is a national wake-up call about what we all must do to come together to fight our individual differences and gather as women leaders, changing things that need to be changed," said Sam Bennett, CEO of the organization. "It's not going to happen by itself or organically."
