IFE/INFO 20th Season Celebration

A pianist provided music amidst a festive backdrop at the Belgian Ambassador's Residence on Foxhall Road.

The Institute for Education celebrated 20 years of civility and common ground through INFO Public Policy Roundtables at the residence of the Belgian Ambassador Wednesday evening.

Ambassador Jan Matthysen, his wife Agnes and daughter Charlotte presided as hosts alongside IFE founder Kathy Kemper.

The event brought together a large diplomatic crowd, including Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, Norwegian Ambassador Wegger Strommen and Luxembourg Ambassador Claudia Fritsche.

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer and his wife Joanna as well as Sen. Richard Shelby and his wife Annette were spotted in the crowd.

Ina Ginsburg was awarded the 2011 International Diplomacy Award.
