The Center for the National Interest held its 2012 Distinguished Service Award Dinner at the Mayflower Hotel. The dinner honored Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

The dinner also included remarks by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), 1997 Distinguished Service Award Recipient, Admiral Michael Mullen, USN (Ret.), 2008 Distinguished Award Recipient, General Charles G. Boyd, USA (Ret.), a member of the board of directors for the Center for the National Interest and Maurice Greenberg, 2000 Distinguished Service Award Recipient.
