Help4Haiti

Help4Haiti, a night to benefit earthquake relief effort, was held at the K Street Lounge Thursday evening. Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) spoke at the event, thanking guests for their donations to the cause.

The benefit was organized by Maria Plakoudas, Sen. Specter's (D-Pa.) scheduler and proceeds went to Partners in Health. Partners in Health is a non-profit organization that has been working with the people of Haiti for over 20 years to establish health care for those who need it most.

Tickets were $20 as a suggested donation for each individual, and got each attendee one complimentary drink.
