CBS hosted a cocktail party Wednesday evening in honor of the one-year anniversary of their daily political webcast "Washington Unplugged." The event, held at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza Hotel on 14th St., drew out many journalists wishing to celebrate with CBS.
"I think Washington Unplugged is a tremendous opportunity for the bureau," said Christopher Isham, CBS News Vice President and Bureau Chief. "We have a talented group of journalists pushing through new stories, talent and ideas."
CBS-related guests included chief White House correspondent Chip Reid and Web journalist Christine Delargy among others. Guests enjoyed drinks at the bar as well as plenty of snacks such as pizza, spring rolls, and pita. Georgetown Cupcake provided desserts for the evening, cupcakes decorated with the CBS logo on them.
