Embassy of Finland Takes the LEED on Green

Earlier this month, the Embassy of Finland was awarded the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for existing buildings. This marks the first time a diplomatic mission in the U.S. has received the honor.

Wednesday evening, Finland had a celebration at the embassy on Massachusetts Ave. to acknowledge the recognition they received and their commitment to environmental sustainability.
