The sixth annual Armed Forces Foundation Congressional Gala was held Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Ronald Reagan Building. The Gala, which honors the sacrifices made by American troops and their families, honored NASCAR and Aaron's Inc. for their unprecedented work with the military community. This year special recognition was given to the Fox NFL Sunday team, who flew to Afghanistan in November 2009 to broadcast a show from Bagram Air Base.
