The Launch of the Fiscal Times

E-mail

The Fiscal Times hosted journalists and policy makers on Wednesday at the Newseum to celebrate their official launch. The new website pitches itself as the inside scoop on all things fiscal, budgetary, and federally financial, and they've got the veteran reporters to back it up.

Funded by billionaire philanthropist Peter G. Peterson, The Fiscal Times has launched already to rave reviews, with guests and journalists commending the site on its non-partisan, clearly numbers-based approach to reporting the news of money.

Veteran magazine editor Jackie Leo was tapped to run the new organization, which she seemed on Wednesday to have taken to with gusto, backed up by some of the nation's most respected financial journalists.
