On Tuesday, the IFE, Institute for Education, currently in its 19th season, held a public policy roundtable breakfast featuring Kenneth R. Feinberg, Special Master for TARP executive compensation.  His excellency, Pierre Vimont, the Ambassador of France, kindly held the event at his magnificent residence.  Ina Ginsburg, IFE steward, introduced Mr. Feinberg and touched on the organizations goal of enhancing Washington’s public policy life. Fellow ambassadors, his excellency Said Jawad, Ambassador of Afghanistan, his excellency, Jan Matthysen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium, and his excellency Urs Ziswiler, Ambassador of Switzerland were present for the discussion that followed Mr. Feinberg’s remarks on his role as “pay czar”. The morning closed after a lively conversation with questions from  both  media members and representatives alike.
