The Pat Tillman Legacy Summit

E-mail

On Wednesday morning, the Pat Tillman Foundation had a legacy summit to engage the current class of scholars, the Tillman board and other organizations. The foundation also hoped to engage key administration and Congressional supporters as well.

Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) stopped by to offer words of support for the foundation and its efforts to help military and their families.

“I’d like to put emphasis on opportunities for veterans because you are a great example to us all,” Pryor said. “The Pat Tillman Foundation has greatly helped people like the scholars here today.”

Pat Tillman was an NFL star that left his professional sports career to enlist in the Army after 9/11. He later was killed by friendly fire. The Pat Tillman Foundation is a national leader in providing resources and educational support to veterans and active service members and their dependants.
