2nd Annual Congressional Dress for Success Challenge

E-mail

The Senate and House once again faced off to see who could donate the most new or gently used suits and workwear for Dress for Success clients during the second annual Congressional Dress for Success Challenge.

Honorary chair Senator Mary Landrieu (D-La.) stopped by to donate a summer suit of hers and to urge fellow members of Congress, staff and friends to a suit donation challenge benefiting Dress for Success D.C. clients.

Fed-Ex was also a sponsor of the Congressional Challenge and a national sponsor of Dress for Success worldwide since 2005.

“Dress for Success has quickly become one of my favorite organizations,” Landrieu said. “It’s an important piece of the puzzle for women to get their lives together.”

Dress for Success is an international non-profit that promotes economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a support network and career development tools to help women thrive in work and life.
