The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) had its annual gala late last month at the Mellon Auditorium. Hundreds attending the event, representing the National Institutes of Health, FDA and other medical professionals.

Acorda Therapeutics President and CEO Dr. Ron Cohen accepted an award on behalf of his company. The award was presented for the development of a treatment for walking disability related to multiple sclerosis.
