The National Press Club's Annual Book Fair and Author's Night

The National Press Club's Annual Book Fair and Author's Night was held Tuesday evening at the National Press Club. The fair, in its 32nd year, is a fundraiser for the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library. Top D.C. politicians and pundits were invited to attend, including Sen. Barabara Boxer (D-Calif.), Ann Coulter, Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) and Sir Harold Evans, who celebrated his book's release at the British Embassy Monday night.

Alma Powell, wife of Colin Powell, was this year's honorary chairwoman.
