On a picturesque Saturday morning, Tammy Haddas hosted her annual White House Correspondents' Garden Brunch along with Ted Greenberg, Kevin Hseekey, Hilary Rosen, Mark Ein, Alex Castellanos, Anita Dunn, Bill Knapp, Jim Courtovich, David Adler, Steve McMahon, Franco Nuschese and honorary co-chairs Susan Axelrod and Wendi Murdoch.

The event, dedicated to CURE Epilepsy and the White Ribbon Alliance, brought out many members of Washington's elite. Jack and Susanna Quinn arrived with Jack in an arm sling, remarking to reporters that he's recovering from rotator cuff surgery. Tony and Heather Podesta were also in attendance, as well as Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, Jane Harman, whose husband Sidney recently passed away.

Meet the Press's Betsy Fischer and Ann and Lloyd Hand also came out to the brunch. Hollywood celebrities also were at the event, including Dancing with the Stars' Brooke Burke, Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford and True Blood's Ryan Kwanten. Kwanten, a native Australian, was pleasantly surprised at how lush the D.C. area greenery is.

In keeping with the vibe of Washington, more brunch attendees were excited about Sarah Palin, who arrived and was immediately surrounded by people eager to say hello. Palin was at the brunch with her
daughter Bristol. The two were seen keeping fairly close to Greta Van Susteren and her husband. Although Sarah is not attending tonights dinner, she plans to attend various afterparties. Her daughter will be a guest of People magazine.

The brunch was one of many events surrounding the weekend.
